BRODHEAD – Thirty-nine members and friends of the Decatur Lake and Mill Race Association (DLMRA) convened at the Bank of Brodhead on Saturday, April 30th for an annual meeting.

Attendees enjoyed several presentations of high interest, including an extensive presentation from four engineering students from UW-Platteville regarding improvements to Decatur Lake. They also heard information from Jaine Winters about a DNR Large Scale Lake Management Planning Grant, a PowerPoint presentation by John Winters about signage being created by the DLMRA for main public access points along the Sugar River from Belleville, Wis., to Harrison, Ill., and information about this year’s Sugar River cleanup.  Pick up this week’s print edition for the full story…..
