Brodhead-Juda drops first-round playoff game

The Blue Devils’ rushing attack proved too much for five-seed Brodhead-Juda. Four-seed Lodi beat the Cardinals 49-28 in a WIAA Division 4 level one playoff contest last Friday.

After a three-and-out on the Cardinals’ first possession, Lodi struck quickly on their opening drive. On the first play, Jacob Heyroth ripped off a 43-yard touchdown run to put the Blue Devils up 7-0. That was just the start of Heyroth’s monster night.
