Judie Giddings, 75, of Beloit, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Judie was born Aug. 9, 1941 to the late Donald and Velma (Townsend) Usher in Beloit.
Judie graduated from Clear Lake Iowa High School, class of 1959. She had been employed by the Clinton School District for 43 years before retiring due to health. She loved and cared for each and every child that came into her life and hoped to make a difference.
She is survived by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Torie (Ron) Kol-lasch; her precious grand-children, Nathan (Bobbie) Erickson, James (girlfriend Mikaela) Kollasch and Reece (girlfriend, Alax) Halley; son in law, Mike Halley; her two sisters, Donna (Dean) Dilley and Roberta Usher and nu-merous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Curt Usher, and her daughter, Tamie Halley.
Her family was her life and devotion that she che-rished. She bought joy, love and caring to all that entered her life.
A Celebration of Judie’s Life took place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, in the Brian G. Mark Funeral Home, 1000 Inman Pkwy., Beloit, Wis., with Rev. Gene Van Galder officiating.
The family received guests from 9 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name. Please share a memory or a condolence with the family on our website.
