Couple gears up for Pearl Island Ride Across America

BRODHEAD – On Sunday, May 17 at 1:00 pm at the Brodhead Library Community Room, John and Jaine Winters will give a short presentation outlining their upcoming epic 4,000 mile bicycle journey across America.

The couple will describe their route, display and discuss the equipment they will be using on the trip and will give a short tour of how interested persons can follow John and Jaine on the Internet as they travel from San Francisco, Ca. to Kitty Hawk, N.C.

After the presentation, John and Jaine will entertain any questions about their trip. They will be leaving for San Francisco the following morning May 18. Be sure to come and wish them a safe and successful journey.
