Gratz recognized for contributions as cross-country coach at BHS

Curt Gratz’s impact can be felt both on and off the cross-country course, leaving a lasting impression on many of his runners over the past 16 years. Gratz was one of the 50 nominees for U.S. Cellular’s Most Valuable Coach Award.

Gratz received an email from U.S. Cellular about the nomination. However, Gratz thought this email was spam. Brian Kammerer then contacted Gratz to inform about his nomination for the recognition. That’s the moment it hit Gratz.
