The Adams Homemakers Club began gathering in 1942 to trade tips and learn the newest developments in homemaking from Extension agents responsible for distributing the university’s breakthroughs to rural communities throughout the state.

Much has changed in the 75 years that have elapsed, but the Adams Homemakers Club is still meeting.  Brodhead resident Carole Haraldson joined the group in the late 1950s, and now chairs the group.
