Sides meet in Fire District kerfuffle; audit forthcoming

The Brodhead Fire District and City Council potentially staved off a rumored dissolution with an hour-long meeting last Monday night, Feb. 12. Both parties emerged from the meeting feeling optimistic about the prospects of the district going forward.

Lisa Huntington was absent from City Council, and Aaron Withee was absent from the Fire Commission.
