DEBORAH WENDLANDT
Deborah Wendlandt, age 72 was born June 18, 1952 in Madison, WI the daughter of Harold and Lois (Herheim) Shultz. She married Ray Wendlandt July 28, 1979 at their home in Brodhead, WI. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and loved spending time with family wether it be camping, getting together and preparing a huge meal for everyone or just sitting and chatting over some coffee. Many will remember her as being their waitress at the loaf-n-shed, Flynn’s Tavern, Cardinal Lanes and then she opened her own restaurant D’s supper Club. After leaving the restaurant business she worked at Maple Leaf Cheese store for many years until she retired. She is survived by her husband Ray, children David Shultz, Deanna Shultz and Destiny (Dustin) Hanson. Grandchildren- Breanna, Brittany, Brendon, Braydon, Bryce, Brelle, Bridget, Dylan, Dayna, Dawson, Taylor, Blake, Jayden, Devin and Addisyn. Great granddaughters- Desirae, Abagail, Serena, Raya, Liliana, Ava, Brooklyn and Isabelle. Her siblings Douglas Shultz, Joni Schwenn, Lori Haack, Dawn Harris, Darlene Anderson and Alan Ziengenbein. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Steven and Louie who passed at birth, stepfather Glenn Subka, nephew Douglas “Bear” Shultz and her cousin/ best friend Bonnie Perdue. Visitation will be held at DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead, WI on Thursday March 27th, 2025 from 10 to Noon. Memorial Service will be held following the visitation.
