Large crowd turns out for annual Jim Church Invitational

BRODHEAD — Many spectators surrounded the track and packed the stands for the annual Jim Church Invitational last Friday. The girls’ squad won the meet with 129 points and the boys’ team placed second with 104 points.
In the 100-meter dash, Madee Harding placed third with a time of 13.1 seconds. Harding also captured third in the 200-meter dash.
The trend continued in the 400-meter dash as Harding earned third in a time of 1:03. Abbey Johnson secured seventh with a time of 1:06.8.
