Jeffrey Lloyd Iverson, 56, New Lisbon, WI, died suddenly on Friday, March 21, 2025. He was born on February 6, 1969, in Monroe, WI, the son of James and Jeri (Ties) Iverson. Jeff was one week away from retiring. Jeff and his wife, Jennifer, previously resided in Lake Mills, WI, and raised their two children there. They moved to New Lisbon in 2023. Jeff married Jennifer Searls on May 13, 1995, in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Their friendship began in high school, and fate brought them together in 1993. They were planning a trip to Greece this year to celebrate 30 years of marriage. Jeff and Jennifer have two beautiful children, Sydney and Hayden. Jeff was an incredible husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and grandpa. He was a provider and a protector and always put his family first. Jeff graduated from Brodhead High School in 1987. He then went to the Wisconsin School of Electronics in Madison, WI and obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. He later earned a BS in computer science from Herzing University, and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. His employers included Camtronics Medical Systems (Hartland, WI), GE Healthcare (Waukesha, WI), and he spent the past 22 years at UW Health (Madison, WI). He had many leadership roles over the years in IT; project management; and strategic business and financial planning. Jeff also had a Six Sigma Black Belt certification signifying a high level of leadership expertise in process improvement and problem-solving. He had incredible mathematical, technical and financial skills, along with the ability to see the “big picture,” which positively impacted healthcare services and ultimately patients. Jeff was a humble, insightful, caring, funny, witty, patient and overall genuine person. He led his life with appreciation and positivity every day. He never failed to model integrity, honesty, and gratitude. He lived a life of no regrets. Jeff was the best listener and very perceptive. He had a way of offering advice – never intrusive or pushy, but always impactful. He said every day how grateful he was for such a beautiful family and life! He was known as the “dog whisperer, baby whisperer and old(er) lady whisperer” – they were instantly drawn to him! He was also called by various family and friends as Pops, Uncle Heffy, Opa, Jeffy, Jeffer, Floyd, and Ivy. Jeff loved learning how to make money with money he earned. He taught himself how to responsibly buy/sell/trade stocks, futures, options, crypto and who knows what else?? It was his hobby and maybe a little bit of an addiction! However, he never took a risk that would jeopardize his family in any way. He used his earnings to purchase multiple real estate properties that provided housing to many. He was a kind, compassionate and fair landlord. In addition to investing, Jeff loved his daily walks around the lake; visiting his children in their respective states; trying new restaurants and finding the best BBQ joints; playing euchre with friends; hanging out at home with Jen watching basketball/football; and sitting on the deck/going on boat rides. He was an avid sports fan – especially the Badgers, Packers, L-Cats and UFC. He inherited his love of cars from his grandfather, Lloyd. His future plans were to purchase a 1963 split window classic corvette and restore a Ford Bronco, just like his favorite car from his younger years. Jeff became a grandfather five months ago and he was most excited about upcoming travels with family and spending time with his granddaughter, GeorGia. Jeff was preceded in death by his Aunt Rosemary Iverson, Uncle Fredrick “Mac” Ties, Grandma Eileen Iverson, Grandpa Lloyd Iverson, Grandpa Robert Eustice, and Grandma Arlene (Ties) Eustice. Jeff is survived by his wife Jennifer (Searls) Iverson, New Lisbon, WI; children Sydney (Carsen) Dellemann, Manor, TX and Hayden (Gianna) Iverson and granddaughter, GeorGia, Boca Raton, FL; parents James and Jeri Iverson, Janesville, WI; sister Jodi (Tim) Curtis, Beloit, WI; nephew Tyler (Kathrine) Curtis and great niece Evangeline, Edgerton, WI; niece Mallory (Dylan) Schuett and great niece Charlie, South Beloit, IL; aunt Jane (Dave) Kerscher; father and mother-in-law Roger and Donna Searls, Brodhead, WI; sister-in-law Jodi (James) Clayton and nieces Julia and Jaycee, Franklin, IN; brother-in-law Kyle (Alelie) Searls and nephews Ateneo, Alciejhen and Seong Uk, Crystal, MN; uncle-in-law Steve (Jean) Searls and cousins-in-law Matthew Searls, Robert (Natalie) Searls, Lily and Emma Searls, Dekalb/Lindenwood, IL. …and many, many more beloved family and friends.
