High school moving forward with ‘Academy’ classes

At the district’s school board meeting last Wednesday, high school principal Jim Matthys announced that the school is moving forward with a Blackhawk Technical College partnership.

“By our students’ junior year, they’ll be able to start taking Blackhawk classes,” he said. “When they get out of here, they’ll just have to go to Blackhawk for a year.”
