Clinton School District names Employee of the Month

The Clinton Community School District recently named Emily Fleming as the February Staff Member of the Month

This month’s recipient for Staff Member of the Month is Emily Fleming. Emily was nominated by a co-worker that shared these words describing Emily: “I can’t even begin to tell you all the ways that Emily has helped me this week when my class needed to be relocated due to a health issue in our classroom.
“She offered to co-teach for three days and welcomed us into her classroom without hesita-tion and without being asked.
“She had extra materials ready at a moment’s notice (both for myself and my students). In addition to the materials, the ability to co-teach with someone is an awesome experience.
“The amount of energy and passion Emily has for teaching is truly admirable and inspiring. Thanks to her flexibility and willingness to think outside the box, my student’s learning wasn’t impacted at all even though we are out of our normal routine.
“Emily is an amazing team leader and is always willing to do anything for the good of students and our team here at Clinton Elementary School. Our district is extremely lucky to have her as a teacher!”
