Students perform at local Solo and Ensemble festival

On Saturday, March 4, the Brodhead band students participated in our district Solo and Ensemble festival.

Cora Hafen thought it was really cool to get feedback from a judge on how to improve. Taylor Midthun agreed;  she said, “It was helpful to get feedback from another person. The tips the judge gave me will help me become a better clarinet player.”

Tori Urness liked that it gave the students a chance to show what students can do individually because the students usually play as a whole band.

Emaleigh McNeece went on to say, “My Solo and Ensemble performance was awesome because it showed me how much you need to work to get better.”
