Open water scuba instructor dives into Brodhead summer library program July 12
With the theme for the Summer Library Program as “Oceans of Possibilities,” on Tuesday, July 12 at 1 p.m., Kim Smith will be sharing the underwater world of both oceans and lakes.
She will share what type of equipment is needed to survive in such an environment that is not meant for human survival.
She will also share some underwater videos so library program participants can see the types of creatures that live 60 feet below the water’s surface.
Smith is an Open Water Scuba Instructor with Diversions Scuba in Madison. She and her husband have been diving together for almost 20 years, and she has been an instructor for 14 years with Diversions Scuba.
