Adella Jean Coulthard, age 61, died unexpectedly on Jan. 4, 2022 at her home.

She was born on Jan. 4, 1961 in Darlington, Wisconsin to the late  Delbert Coulthard and Sylvia Lynda DuVal-Wentz.

She graduated from Albany High School in 1979.

She worked for 20 years at Advance Transformer in Monroe before gaining her CDL license.

She started working for US Express for a year then started to run long-haul routes with R&R Transportation where she met her husband, Robert.

Eventually Adella and Robert made team runs together.  She was also a product rep for Young Living Essential Oils.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Powell; four step children, Samuel Powell, Erica Lee, Dorothy (Delmar) Terrell and James (Amber) Powell; six siblings, Delvin (Nancy) Coulthard, Alice (Bob) Bechtolt, John (Brenda) Coulthard, David (Lisa) Coulthard, Craig Coulthard and Heather Coulthard;   three step siblings, Melody (Dan) Judkins, Waynette (Eryc) Rydz and Jenny (Fritz) Sandlin; two aunts, Juanita Lancaster and Betty Howard; a special friend, Barb Krattiger; her grandma, Marlene Johnson and many special nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by siblings, Diane Coulthard, Vivian Coulthard, Rose Werner and Joseph Coulthard; step parents, Bruce and Edith Couthard-Templeton and Edward Wentz; paternal grandparents, Lola and Milo Coulthard and maternal grandparents, Irene and Edward DuVal.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are suggested.

Funeral services will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 at noon.

A visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Burial will conclude at the Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead.
