Annual watershed meeting hosts specialists on cover crops

A Nebraska crop farmer and cover crop seed specialist headlines this year’s Farmers of the Sugar River annual meeting Tuesday, Feb. 15.
Keith Berns will present “Carbonomics: The Economy of the Soil” in the morning session and on “Seven Things I’ve learned about Cover Crops” in the afternoon.
The producer-led watershed group’s day of workshops and meetings takes place in Albany Lions Club, 402 Cincinnati St., Albany.
The event includes lunch and costs just $5 at the door.
