Anthony “Andy” Lewis, age, 59, formerly of Brodhead, died May 25, 2022 after several years of declining health.

He was born on Aug. 3, 1962 to the late Lee and Wanda Lewis.

He graduated from Orangeville High School and after graduation enlisted in the United States Marine Corp.

He spent most of his adult life doing various labor jobs and raising his three daughters, Kristy, Kassey and Kari.

They were his pride and joy and what kept him going until the end. He was known for being an amazing dad, who did a terrific job raising his three girls.

He was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR races (especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr.), fishing, and listening to ‘80s classic rock.

“Our dad was a fighter; beating two brain aneurysms, lung cancer and several other serious health complications in his relatively young life. But one can only fight so many battles before they become wearing of fighting. He will be deeply missed,” his daughters said.

He is survived by his three daughters, Kristy (Eric) Crum, Kassey (Jim) Lewis, and Kari (Wes) Shorey; six grandchildren, Parker, Kloe, Katie, Wes Jr., Kallie and Ella; siblings, Mike (Bev) Campbell, Kenneth (Brenda) Campbell, Melanie Johnson, Jeff (Sharon) Lewis, Chris (Robin) Lewis and Danny (Rhonda) Lewis. He’s also survived by countless nieces and nephews.

He is further preceded in death by his brother Curtis, brother Russell, brother Kelly, sister Bonnie and brother Steve.
