Brodhead, WI – Beverly Kay (Bush) Case, age 79, of Brodhead, WI went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday December 2, 2024 after her courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Kay was born August 6th, 1945 at Highland Hospital in Belvidere, Illinois. She was a Tom Boy at home on the farm in rural Manchester Township, a piano student for eight years. Kay and her two sisters would deliver farm fresh eggs in Belvidere to pay for Piano lessons from Mrs. Johnson.

Kay attended Manchester Grade School and then North Boone High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society; some would say she was a teacher’s pet but she worked very hard for her grades. In school Kay learned to play many instruments including Bass Clarinet, Tuba, accordion, Timpani and occasionally the Bass drum.

Irv Case worked for Kay’s father and in High school they began to date and were married on October 5th, 1962. They had two children Douglas and Deborah. To help with finances Kay went to work with a “Temp” agency. This would lead to a full time job with The Parker Pen Company and then spun off as the Panoramic Corporation. Kay became a very good accountant and a trained Payroll specialist. Kay would joke that she worked for four different owners and sat at the same desk for 25 years.

In 1999 Kay quit her Job to go with her husband into the ministry. She became a pastor’s wife. Kay was active in church, playing the organ and the Piano, and leading the Youth Group with her husband. In retirement she taught Piano.

They became active in Lay Witness Missions and in that capacity she served eight years on the Board of Directors of Aldersgate Renewal ministries. Kay was compassionate and caring and people responded to her because they could see the Holy Spirit working through her.

Then along came grandchildren and that same loving Spirit was showered on them; Nick Mason, Leah Mason, and Joshua Mason, Jon Case, Aaron Case and Evan Case.

When Irv retired in 2010 they moved to the Brodhead area and the love of God was shared with still more congregations.

Later in life there came a round of health problems, attacks of the enemy. Bouts with cancer and then Parkinson’s disease, a hip replacement and auto accidents exacted their toll.

Kay is survived by her son Doug (Jane) Case, daughter Debbie (Mark) Mason, Grandkids John (Cj) Case, Evan Case, Nick (Megan) Mason, Leah (Jim) Barron, Josh Mason; Greatgrandchildren Aiden, Elle, Isla, Casey and Lola; an AFS daughter

Gororetti Vadillo Robredo and an AFS son Vincenzo Mauro Tobar and Numerous “adopted” sons and daughters.”

Kay is preceded in death by her father John Bush and Her Mother Leila Bush Her sisters Virginia Bietau and Patricia Walter, and her grandson Aaron Case.

John had a nick name for Kay, it was Snooks and Snooks we really look forward to meeting you in heaven.
