The Brodhead boys’ varsity basketball program, recently, suffered consecutive losses for just the second time this season.

After dropping a tough Rock Valley Conference matchup against the Beloit Turner Trojans, The Cardinals and their head coach, Tommy Meier, were set up for one of the biggest games of their 2021-22 regular season.

On Feb. 1, the Cards played host to the East Troy Trojans.  It was a battle amongst the top of the Rock as the Cards sat just a game ahead of East Troy in the RVC standings.

Despite being on their homecourt, the Cards struggled to find any rhythm on offense in the first half.
