Brodhead Historical Society commends Betty Earleywine and Carol Gombar

Brodhead Historical Society held their annual meeting on Monday, Oct. 31. Two long-time active members were acknowledged for their many years of devoted service.  Betty Earleywine and Carol Gombar have each provided over 40 years of active service since the historical society’s inception in 1975, which was in preparation for our country’s bicentennial in 1976.

Betty Earleywine was commended for her services in many roles, including Director, Curator, Historic Homes Research and Wagon Tour Guide, Program Coordinator, Museum Committee Chair, Membership, Publicity, and Special Committees for First Brigade Band and Smithsonian Food Exhibit.
