Brodhead-Juda’s football team began postseason play last week with a big win against the Watertown Luther Preparatory Phoenix.

The Cards were the favorites ahead of the matchup as they came into the game number two seed on their side of the division five bracket.

The Phoenix came in as the seven seed with an overall record of 4-5.

The Cards still had to handle their business on the field, and they did just that.

Early in the first quarter, Brodhead-Juda got on the board as Aidyn Vondra broke free on a 33-yard touchdown run.
