Aiden Vondra grabs the pass for completion bringing up a huge Brodhead/Juda first down in the fourth quarter.

By Trenten Scheidegger, Correspondent –

Last Friday night the Brodhead-Juda football team had their second home game of the year when they hosted the Beloit Turner Trojans.  The Trojans came in with just a 1-3 overall record, but that is more so due to the impressive competition the Rock Valley Conference holds this season.  The Cardinals came in with a slight advantage at 2-2, but would struggle to stop the Trojans elusive offense.

All night long the Cardinal defense seemed to be able to put the Trojans in third and long, or fourth and long situations however Beloit Turner was able to convert those tough plays time and time again.  The Cardinals got off to a slow start once again, as a quick pair of touchdowns had the Trojans up 14-0 with 3:12 left to play in the first quarter.
