Brodhead ready to celebrate Family Fest

Brodhead will come together Saturday for its biggest celebration of the summer – Family Fest.

The community festival begins with a patriotic parade at 11a.m., followed by a full day of food, fun, music and fireworks at Putnam Park.

According to organizers, this years event features more games for kids, food and non-alcoholic beverages, a DJ and live music by the Stateline Playboys, a new outdoor market, a salute to veterans, and an expanded fireworks show.
