The Brodhead Student Council in 2019 supported Darcy, who was 7 at the time, and is living with Rett’s Syndrome. Darcy’s wish came true in part due to the students’ efforts in hosting Wish Week and raising $5,000 to help her take a trip to Disney, which she and her family are on now. Next week, students are raising funds to help fund a Madison-girl’s wish.

The Brodhead High School Student Council is working on making an area girl’s wish to travel to Hawaii a reality.

Fourteen-year-old Aidyn, who lives in Madison is living with a circulatory system disease. She wishes to travel to Hawaii and with Brodhead’s participation in Kids for Wish Kids, she will be jetted off in June.

Kids for Wish Kids is a fundraising program in partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation that provides schools and youth organizations the opportunity to engage in philanthropy and service activities.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation’s goal is to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness.
