Brodhead volleyball off to 5-1 start

The Lady Cardinals celebrate a big block in the March 18 match against Evansville. The Brodhead girls swept their opponent 3-0 on their way to a 5-1 start to the alternate spring season.

It has been a over a year since we last saw the Brodhead Cardinals and longtime head coach Erin Kammerer take to the volleyball courts.  Things were trending up for the Cards in their last season, as they finished with a record of 31-12 and a 6-2 record in Rock Valley Conference play.

Although the 2019 season come to an end in heart-breaking fashion as the Cards fell in sectionals, hopes remained high for Brodhead, as they would return a majority of their contributors.
