Cardinal dominance continues in RVC basketball

The Brodhead girls’ varsity basketball squad has extended its winning streak to eight games after beating the Big Foot Chiefs, last week.

It was a bit more relaxed week for the Lady Cards, as they had only one game scheduled in a span of 10 days. The time off did not appear to slow down their momentum, however.

The Chiefs came into the game as the clear underdogs with a record of just 5-13.

Despite the Chief’s ongoing struggles, no one could have guessed the type of dominant display the Lady Cards were about to put on.

When these teams faced off earlier this season, Brodhead came away with a 55-23 victory on Big Foot’s court.  That was nothing compared to what Brodhead would do in their second matchup.
