Cardinals defeat Parkview, 67-52

The Cardinals (4-8 overall, 3-5 Rock Valley) played an overall solid game in a 67-52 Rock Valley south victory over Parkview last Friday.

The opening six minutes was a back-and-forth battle with three different lead changes. Jade Noble came up with a theft and converted a fast break layup to put the Vikings up 4-0. Junior Justice Tway finished down low off an assist from senior Tyler Flannery to put Brodhead up 5-4. Senior Tyler Urness crashed the glass for a put back and was fouled on the play. Urness capped the three-point play from the charity stripe to give the Cardinals an 8-6 lead.
