Cardinals fall short in loss to Clinton

The Clinton Cougars dominated from the tip and cruised to a 90-69 Rock Valley South victory over Brodhead last Friday.

The Cardinals got off to a disastrous start as they fell behind 19-5 seven minutes into the contest. Clinton got several leak outs as the Cougars pushed the tempo every chance they got. Cole Ciochon converted on a couple putbacks during the early blitz. Zachary Krause got out into the open court on three transition lay-ins in the early stages.
