Cardinals lose after Platteville comeback

The Brodhead Cardinals built a double-digit lead in the first half, but Platteville stormed back to beat the Cardinals 70-63 in a non-conference matchup last Monday.

The Cardinals jumped out to an 11-4 lead in the early stages.  Junior Justice Tway set the tone as he aggressively converted twice down low. Junior Brekan Day ended the early blitz with a conventional three-point play on a slash to the rim.
