The Brodhead-Juda varsity football team is off to an excellent start as the newest member of the Southwest Wisconsin Conference.  After going 2-0 against non-conference opponents to start the season, the Cardinals continued their winning streak as they moved into league play.

On Sept. 3, Brodhead-Juda played host to their first conference opponent of the season in the New Glarus-Monticello Knights. Many were expecting an exciting matchup, as just five months earlier, these teams met up in the alternate spring schedule.  That spring game came down to just a single-point differential, as the Cards would top the Knights 23-22.
