Cardinals suffer tough loss to Chiefs

The young Cardinals (1-2 overall, 1-1 Rock Valley) hung with the pre-season Rock Valley south favorite before the Chiefs prevailed 58-52 last Friday.

The opening half was a back-and-forth battle, each team exchanging body blows.  The Chiefs went on a 6-0 run to go up 16-11. Brooke Wellhausen, who had a monster game, converted a drive and knocked down a jumper.
