Cards Hold Off Whippets

The Brodhead Cardinals hosted the Whitewater Whippets last Thursday for a Rock Valley Conference matchup.

The Cards were down early as Whitewater began the game with a 7-0 run.  They responded quickly as two straight Cardinal 3-pointers brought them within one point.  After giving up a basket, Dawson Van Wyhe found Cody Malcook for an assist, bringing the score to 9-8 midway through the first half.
