Monroe, WI – Carmen “Cam” Evalyn Hale, age 28, passed away after a tragic and unexpected accident in Monroe, WI on February  2, 2024.

Cam was born on June 20, 1995 at the Monroe Hospital in Monroe, WI the daughter of Kyle and Julie (Andrews) Hale and was raised on the family dairy farm in Juda, WI.

Cam has worked on the family farm in Juda, Charlie’s Bark Park (both Monroe and Belleville) locations.  Most recently, she worked at Swiss Colony in Monroe and her self run dog sitting business, Cam’s Canine Care.

Cam loved live music, especially K-Pop and theater.  She was willing to travel long distances including Madison, Chicago, Minneapolis and Texas to enjoy them.  Cam also went on a sightseeing trip to London with friends.

Cam was a great supporter and fierce rights advocate for the LGBT+ community.

Cam loved to travel with family on camping trips, which included lots of hiking in the Rocky Mountains, Northern Wisconsin, Black Hills, Badlands and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Going on hikes and walks brought her great peace of mind.

Cam loved to read and always had a book with her.

Finally, Cam loved animals, especially dogs, cats and horses.  Especially the family dog, Copper, who she did dog obedience and agility classes with through 4-H.  Because of her love of animals, she took advantage of going horseback riding every opportunity she could.

Cam is survived by her parents, Kyle and Julie Hale, two siblings, Crista and Clayton Hale; her maternal grandmother, Shirley Andrews; many aunts and uncles, Terri Munz (Phillip Welton), Dusty Munz, Mike (Judy) Hale, Grace (Ed) Gassen, Steve (Betty) Andrews, Barb (Harlan) Jordan, Jim (Michelle) Andrews, Dan Andrews (Brenda Phillips), Theresa Klitzke Andrews, David Andrews and Diane (David) Dodd and many other cousins, family members and friends.

Cam was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Evalyn Hale, a maternal grandfather, Donald Andrews and a step paternal grandmother, Nancy Hale.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family in her memory.

A memorial visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Another visitation will be held at the Juda Community Center, N2350 County Highway S in Juda WI on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a brief memorial service at 2:00 PM.  A celebration of life will be held for Cam after the memorial services at the Juda Community Center.
