Casualty Care training makes first responders out of teachers

EMT Chris Searles guided a small group of Brodhead teachers through the proper steps in event of a serious injury in their classrooms. The tips were pragmatic but gruesome.

For example, if a projectile traveled through both sides of a limb, both sides then need to be packed.
