DNR seeks citizen help with local turtle crossings
Since the project began in 2012, more than 1,300 citizens have reported nearly 3,000 turtle sightings throughout Wisconsin and have identified more than 1,300 turtle road crossing hotspots.

Council purchases former Fitness Center for $435,000
The Brodhead City Council moved ahead with its plans for renovating the former Fitness Center at 1803 23rd St. by bringing a close to months of negotiations between retired local dentist Dr. Julio Rodriguez and the city’s purchasing agent.
