The Clinton Community School District (CCSD) has released its 2024 Donovan Group Employee Survey, which highlight increased overall satisfaction and engagement among staff.
With 111 employees participating in the anonymous survey, the results reveal positive trends in key areas, while also identifying areas for continued enhancements. In a year-over-year comparison, all survey categories showed positive trends except for one, underscoring a growing sense of commitment, collaboration, and professional development within the district.
Key findings
- Commitment to Public Education: Over 97% of employees expressed a positive outlook on public education, reflecting the district’s strong dedication to student success.
- Employee Happiness and Support: 92.9% of employees felt happy at work, and nearly 90% felt respected and supported by colleagues and leadership.
- Essential Tools Provided: 95.5% of employees agree they have the necessary materials to work effectively, a 10.1% increase year-over-year.
- Growing Responsiveness: 96.4% of staff agree that the District Administrator demonstrates a willingness to listen to employee feedback, a 7.6% increase from 2022.
- Staff Feel Safe: More than 99% of employees agree their school environment is safe.
Areas for enhancement
Despite the positive trends, the survey highlighted some areas for growth:
- Cultivating Stronger Bonds: Increased communication and connection between the School Board and staff was suggested.
- Mental Health Support: There is a need for additional resources to support student mental health and behavior management.
