CLINTON – The Clinton High School present its first high school play in 50 years. Come and see the romantic comedy “You Can’t Take It With You” on Thursday, March 17, Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19 at 7 p.m. on the Clinton Middle School Stage. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.

This award winning play is set in the 1930s around a very unique family where dancing, xylophone playing, painting, fireworks and fun all happened in your living room. Released as a movie in 1939, it won the Oscar for Best Picture.

This play stars Matt Shallenberger as the wise Grandfather, Rachel Lefevre as the play write Penny, Brian LeFeber as the father and fireworks maker, Paul, Rhian Harrop as the dancer Essie, Zach Stupey as the xylophone playing Ed along with Laura Shultz and Dustin Bennett as the young romantic couple of Alice and Tony.

These students are bringing back a true American art form to the community of Clinton. For more information, contact Aaron Bennett at Clinton High School.
