CLINTON – On Saturday, March 19, the Clinton community came together for a very special cause, VetsRoll, sponsored by Boxcars Pub and Grub.
This was the fifth year that Boxcars has sponsored such an event, and raised $7,000 more than the previous year, raising $20,000 for the special organization.
The Clinton area veteran’s presented a flag and a 21-gun salute to kick off the day. There was a Kiss the Pig contest, Chicken Poop bingo, silent auction, 50/50 raffle and much more.
Boxcars donated 100% of all sales of green beer, Shepherd’s pie and Irish stew to the VetsRoll organization, selling four barrels of green beer. The community support was very much appreciated.
