Coach celebrates victory over hometown team Cardinals top RVC with recent winning streak

The Brodhead boys basketball team and Head Coach Tommy Meier are riding a five-game winning streak, that includes a win over Meier’s alma mater, Black Hawk High School in South Wayne.

It’s a winning streak that has the Cards in first place in the Rock Valley Conference with a perfect league record of 7-0.

The streak began back on Dec. 29,  when Brodhead beat Deerfield 68-55.

The winning spirit carried over into 2022, as the Cards are 4-0 in the new year.  Brodhead picked up their two most recent wins last week, over Big Foot and Black Hawk.
