Kreger & Spiwak recognized for commitment to students and community; voting begins now to select two Most Valuable Coach winners.

U.S. Cellular announced last week that Parker High School Football Coach Clayton Kreger and Clinton High School Football Coach Jeff Spiwak are among the Final 15 coaches for the company’s Most Valuable Coach Program.  As Head Coach for the Parker High School program, Kreger was nominated for “promoting the positivity of sports.” Coach Spiwak was nominated for “going above and beyond to ensure that leadership, teamwork and safety are upheld.” Based on votes cast now through Nov. 18 at www.TheMostValuableCoach.com, Coach Kreger and Coach Spiwak have the opportunity to be among the two coaches named a U.S. Cellular’s Most Valuable Coach on Nov. 21. Each winning coach will receive $5,000 for their school and will be recognized on the field at the Under Armour All-America High School Football Game on Jan. 1.

U.S. Cellular will host celebrations honoring Coach Kreger and Coach Spiwak at their schools and create short videos detailing their stories, which will be released on Nov. 11. The company will also award $1,000 to both Parker High School and Clinton High School. Coach Kreger and Coach Spiwak join other coaches in California, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, Oklahoma, Virginia and Wisconsin on being voted into the Final 15. “We are truly inspired by the community support shown in Janesville and Clinton to propel Coach Kreger and Coach Spiwak into the Final 15,” said John Heimsch, Director of Sales for Wisconsin and northern Illinois at U.S. Cellular. “We look forward to celebrating with both coaches, and regardless of who emerges victorious in the end, we are thrilled that they are both among the coaches leading and teaching young people in our local communities.”

Coach Spiwak led the Cougars into Round 1 of the Division 5 WIAA High School Football Playoffs on Friday, Oct. 21, as they hosted Marshall and won. U.S. Cellular’s Most Valuable Coach Program began on Sept. 9 and gave people the opportunity to honor high school football head coaches who have had a positive impact on their players, students and local communities.  The two winning coaches and their guests will receive a trip to Orlando, Fla. to be recognized on the field of Camping World Stadium during the ESPN nationally-televised Under Armour All-America High School Football Game on Jan. 1.
