COVID restrictions remain at library. Green County coronavirus case rate still classified as ‘high’

COVID-19 restrictions in place at the Brodhead library remain unchanged for now, including a requirement to wear masks.
At its meeting Oct. 21 Library Director Angela Noel recommended patrons continue to wear masks for library browsing and computer use and the library continue its curbside service for those who cannot mask.
Noel told the library board that COVID activity levels in Green County remain very high. As of Wednesday, there were 4,351 confirmed cases in the county. That compared to 3,857 cases in September. As of last Tuesday, 58.2 percent of Green County residents had received at least one dose of the vaccine and 56.6 percent were fully vaccinated. Those numbers were up slightly from 56.8 percent in September having received at least one dose of the vaccine and 54.5 percent being fully vaccinated.
