Dorothy M. Nenneman, 95, passed away unexpectedly while at her home on Jan. 25, 2023.

She was born on May 11, 1927, the daughter of George and Rose (Schneider) Nenneman.

She was a lifelong member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Brodhead.  She worked for the City of Brodhead Water and Light Dept for many years prior to her retirement.

She volunteered for the Green County nutrition program, and bowled for many years in a league when the bowling alley was still in Brodhead.

She enjoyed doing crafts, making jewelry and pottery, and getting together with family. She was an avid reader.

She is survived by a sister, Nancy Montgomery; 7 nieces and nephews, Shirley Peterson, Vicki (Steve) Krattiger, David (Darcy) Montgomery, Craig (Amy) Montgomery, Todd (Charlotte) Montgomery, Tammy Nenneman, and Cindy Pederson (Dennis Last); many great and great great nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Sheila Wagner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose; three siblings, Ruth (Roger) Brobst, Virginia (Robert) Springsted, and Robert (Claudia) Nenneman; and a niece and nephew, Judy Krattiger and Rick Springsted.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family in her memory.

Funeral services were held at St. Peter Lutheran Church 1708 West 6th Ave. in Brodhead on Saturday, Jan. 28.  A visitation was also held at the church prior to services.

Burial concluded at the Greenwood Cemetery in Brodhead.  DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead assisted the family.
