Future still bright after tough loss to East Troy
By Derek Hoesly, Correspondent
The East Troy Trojans built an early lead and hit timely shots to beat the Brodhead Cardinals (2-3 overall, 1-2 Rock Valley) 88-59 in a Rock Valley crossover contest last Friday.
The Cardinals stared at a 14-2 deficit four minutes into the game. The Trojans’ leading scorer, Jonathan Ciriacks, made his presence felt moments into the game. He knocked down two threes to spark the red-hot start. The surge was capped on a transition layup by Michael Polakoski.
