Green County sees highest number of COVID cases. Health department provides tips to staying healthy during the holidays

Last month, 732 Green County residents tested positive for COVID-19, according to Green County Public Health.

This is the largest number of cases in a single month in county, according to a press release the agency sent out last week.

“As cases continue to rise, Green County Public Health urges community members to act to prevent the spread of COVID-19 this holiday season,” the release stated.

Health officials say the best way to be protected against COVID-19 is to get vaccinated.
