Hubert Alan Creed, 85, passed away on July 30, 2022 at the Riverwalk Assisted Living in Waterloo, Wis.

He was born on Sept. 7, 1936, in Coretta, West Virginia, the son of Shade and Selma Creed.

He married Rozella Kennedy on Feb. 3, 1962, at the Truax Airbase in Madison.

He served his country in the U.S Airforce.  He worked for 26 years before his retirement at Hamlin Industries where he worked at Director of Quality Control.

He was a simple man who loved to study scripture and was a member of the Gospel Hall in Brodhead.

Alan is survived by his wife, Rozella; two children, Steve (Marlene) Creed and Jeff Creed; 4 grandchildren, Dee Dee Collette, Raymond (Amber) Schlesner, Nicole (Jeremy) Jones and Luke (Becky) Creed; 11 great grandchildren, Adawna, Arturo, Alan, Tenecia, Raymond, Mason, Cole, Dillon, Jacob, Terrance and Devin; one sister, Peggy Knight; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Debbie Barnes, a grandson, Steven Collette and five siblings, Howard, Nancy, Judy, Debbie Sue and Dennis.

Funeral services will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Monday, Aug. 8 at 11 a.m.

A visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Aug. 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., also Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Burial will conclude at the Greenwood Cemetery.
