Initial report on Decatur Lake options inspire

More than 40 members of the public gathered in the Bank of Brodhead conference room Sunday afternoon to hear preliminary impressions, ideas and takeaways from their study of Decatur Lake.

Steve Gaffield of Montgomery & Associates, out of Cottage Grove, Wis., opened the meeting with a presentation lasting short of an hour, where he explained the team’s assessments, findings and suggested explorations for development, restoration and revamping the lake.
