JANE MARIE BAADE

Jane Marie Baade, age 87, of Albany passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the New Glarus Home. She was born in Minnesota on February 11, 1936, to Waldo and Jennie (Moe) Brown. She graduated from Truman High School. On May 31, 1957 Jane married Omar Baade in Truman, MN.

Jane dedicated herself to nurturing her family as a devoted homemaker. Jane was an active member of the Footville Church of Christ and the Women’s Guild.

Jane is survived by her husband, Omar, their children, Gloria (Ron) Kretzer of Lakeland, FL, Tim (Cindy) Baade of Roscoe, IL, and Scott (Jody) Baade of Albany; son-in-law, Gary Nyman of South Carolina; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandy Nyman; and four step-brothers.
