Keith O. Cook, age 75, formerly of Brodhead, died peacefully in his Rutledge, Tennessee home on Feb. 12, 2022.
He was born on July 4, 1946 to the late Laurence and Lavora (Rice) Cook.
He was a US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War.
He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his wife Bernadine “Bea” Cook, three children: Scott (Shawn) Cook of Brodhead, Travis (Tiffney) Cook of Janesville, Sonya (Chris) Hersch of Nevada, four sisters: Marylin Hoffman, Beloit; Cheryl (Russell) Warriner, Tennessee; Kathy (Jeff) Gilbertson, Albany; and Connie (Mike) Pederson of Argyle; a brother, Mike Cook of Monroe and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was further preceded in death by his grandparents, brothers Donald, Larry, Cecil, Lyle, Dennis, Stephen and infant Danny; sisters Carol and Myla, stepdaughter Charlene Furseth and niece Cheryl.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Feb. 27 from 2-4 p.m. at Bridges Bar & Grill, 1034 1st Center Avenue, Brodhead. Military honors will take place at approximately 3 p.m.
