Kelch Aviation Museum gets summer activities aloft in July and August

One of many meticulously maintained vintage air-craft at Brodhead’s airport and museum makes its way from a hanger to the grass landing strip in this 2018 photo. Kelch Aviation Museum has made tremendous progress since then, and it’s all on display in fun events this summer 2022.

Back by popular demand! Join us on Thursday, July 21 to enjoy delicious BBQ, antique airplanes, and good company! Bring the whole family, and invite a friend.

When: Thursday, July 21, from 5 to 7p.m. (or until the food runs out!)

Where: The Kelch Aviation Museum: North 2463 Airport Road off State Highway 11 at the south end of Brodhead.

What: BBQ with all the fixings, vegetarian entrees, drinks, and ice cream.

Why: Because barbecues, summer evenings, and antique airplanes are the perfect combo!

Cost: $15 per plate for adults; $8 each kid’s plate. All proceeds support the museum. Drive or fly in, and explore the museum, too!
