Lady Cardinals awarded

The Brodhead girls’basketball squad held their end-of-the-year banquet last Sunday evening.

Junior Erin Nyhus was voted Rock Valley South Player of the Year and first team All-Conference. She was also named the team’s Most Valuable Player. Nyhus led the Cardinals with 17 points per game and six rebounds per contest and dished out a season total of 31 assists. Nyhus also reached a career milestone with her 1,000th career point against the Parkview Vikings.
